Dear Candidates,

This past weekend, we had a wonderful reunion with a number of our "old" classmates and shared many laughs along with good food and drink! Bill Music brought cigars which were also a big hit for many classmates along with the singing entertainment provided by John Gidmark, Dan Shipp and Jeff Taylor

The weather was outstanding which enhanced our trip to the USS Constitution by water taxi along with our ride in the Duck Boats in the Charles River! For those so inclined, we did a little walking along the Freedom Trail that highlighted the various events that led to the Revolutionary War.

Even though Boston is a great walking city, we opted to take the "T" subway system to many of our planned events including Friday night's dinner in Harvard Square and Saturday's lunch in the North End.

There were many picture takers at the reunion and I know that CJ Spence has begun forwarding these to us. Dan Shipp has also kept our website going and more information and pictures can eventually be found there.

Our reunions over the last few years have evolved from curiosity and reflection of what initially brought us together to ones of strengthening friendships from long ago! We had two candidates that were able to attend their first reunion - Sandy Sanderson from the first platoon and Tom Dewey and his wife Paula from the fourth platoon and I'm sure that we will see them at the next reunion as well.

Mike Vogelsang has graciously offered to plan for our next reunion in Savannah Georgia along with Jeff Taylor and Don Sims for sometime in the spring of 2009. Stay tuned for more information and I hope you will all plan to come.

Tom Corrigan
